I found four recordings of the Schütz St. John's Passion. I purchased the first of these.

I have not purchased any of these. The samples for these two seemed to suggest a lesser choir,
but it may just be a style of singing to which my ear is unaccustomed.
However, if you buy one of these, please let me know. I'd like to hear the rest of the recording.
